The first official tournaments wait until next week, but LIV Golf’s Promotions Event is underway. Golf on TV is live.
At the LIV Golf Promotions Event 2026, players compete for starting spots in the upcoming season of the LIV Golf League. The tournament takes place from January 8 to 11, 2026, at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida. The top three players earn full starting spots for the 2026 LIV Golf League. Additionally, the top 10 players (including ties) automatically qualify for the 2026 International Series.
The tournament is played over four rounds of stroke play. After round 1, the top 20 players and ties advance to round 2, with scores reset. The same happens after round 2, where again the top 20 move on to rounds 3 and 4. Rounds 3 and 4 are played with cumulative scoring. A playoff occurs only if needed to determine the winner or second and third places.
