The first official tournaments wait until next week, but LIV Golf’s Promotions Event is underway with players aiming to qualify. Golf on TV is live.
The LIV Golf Promotions Event 2026 features players competing for spots in the upcoming LIV Golf League season. The tournament takes place from January 8 to 11, 2026, at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida. The top three players of the event will secure full entry to the LIV Golf League 2026. Additionally, the top 10 players (including ties) will automatically qualify for the 2026 International Series.
The tournament is played as a four-round stroke play event. After round 1, the top 20 players and ties qualify for round 2, with scores reset. The same procedure follows after round 2, allowing the top 20 players to advance to rounds 3 and 4, which are played with cumulative scoring. A playoff will occur only if needed to determine the winner or 2nd and 3rd places.
