LIV Golf Opens the Door – Who Will Enter the League?
The field includes tour winners, former LIV players, and newcomers. For some it’s a comeback, for others a breakthrough. Among them, five German-speaking participants see this event as a real opportunity and possibly the start of a new chapter.
Max Kieffer Before the Next Chapter
For Max Kieffer, this event might be his most important appearance since his DP World Tour win in 2022. After 13 years on Europe’s top tour, he lost his tour card. The 2025 season did not go as planned, with a drop in ranking and a missed Q-School. Now, LIV Golf represents a new chance. The Düsseldorf native brings experience and a clear mindset that it is not over yet: \”We’re not done yet,\” he recently wrote. Florida will reveal how far his comeback path truly is.
Foos, Bachem, Rottluff, Schwab: Each with Their Own Story
Taking a different route but sharing similar goals: Dominic Foos caught attention with an Asian Tour win in 2025. His consistent play and international experience paved his way into the Promotions. Now he wants more. For the 28-year-old, advancing to the LIV Golf League would mean not only a sporting step up but also a spotlight boost.
Nick Bachem’s 2025 ended bitterly with injury, a slump, and last place at Q-School. But those who know the 26-year-old know he doesn’t give up easily. Bachem has already shown he can win at a top level. Similarly, Matthias Schwab missed the final stage of Q-School, losing realistic chances for a tour card. After years on the PGA and DP World Tours, he is searching for a new path—which LIV Golf could provide. Maximilian Rottluff approaches the LIV Golf Promotions with a unique perspective. The 32-year-old qualified last year through this very tournament for the Asian Tour International Series.
