Srixon ZXiR: New Irons Offering More Support in the Long Game

Srixon expands its iron lineup for golfers seeking more support in the long game.

Srixon raises the bar in the game-improvement iron segment with its new ZXiR and ZXiR HL irons. These models target players wanting extra support and comfort in their long game—whether seeking more distance, enhanced control, or better feel. The new irons round out the series and simplify entry into the ZXi iron family, combining a soft impact feel with high forgiveness.

Srixon: New Material, New Feel

At the core of this development is a new material called i-ALLOY, which is about ten percent softer than standard 431 steel, reducing vibrations for a softer strike feel. Enhanced with a redesigned MainFrame face pattern, these irons deliver a smoother impact and increased ball speed. The sweet spot is precisely positioned where most players need it, improving consistency.

Visually, the irons maintain a cavity-back design with a sleek topline, characteristic of the ZXi series, now refined with wider soles, longer faces, and increased offset to provide better confidence at address. The HL variant is tailored for players with slower clubhead speed who benefit from higher launch angles, offering additional help on ball launch.

Fitting and Selection – Beyond Standard

The ZXi range now includes seven models, ensuring suitable options for virtually every swing profile. Like previous versions, the ZXiR irons emphasize customization with shaft options from KBS, grips by Golf Pride, and numerous combinations to optimize fitting. Available for preorder starting December 4, 2025, within fitting sessions, the official launch is February 6, 2026. A set of six irons is priced at 1,049 euros, available in both steel and graphite shaft configurations.
