The 2025 season comes to an end. We look back at the biggest highlight shots and unforgettable moments of the year – the annual review.

As the season wraps up, it’s time to reflect on the thrilling moments of 2025. With the European Team’s Ryder Cup victory, Rory McIlroy completing the Grand Slam, and many more highlights, this year offered plenty to remember. Often the individual shots leading to these successes are overlooked, yet they can be just as spectacular as the victories themselves. This year saw legendary shots that will be etched in the memories of players and fans alike.

Rory McIlroy’s Shot on 15 at the Masters

Perhaps the most legendary shot of the year came on the 15th hole at the Masters. After 14 holes, McIlroy was tied with Justin Rose and Ludvig Aberg. His tee shot veered slightly left, leaving a tree between him and the green for his second shot on the par 5. While most players would have played it safe to secure par, McIlroy took a huge risk, hitting a massive draw toward the green, landing the ball just next to the pin. This shot not only showcased his skill but also his incredible determination to finally win the Masters and achieve the Career Grand Slam this year.

Patrick Reed Makes Golf History with Albatross at the US Open

Oakmont is known as one of the toughest golf courses worldwide, and the US Open is a tournament where shooting under par can put you in contention. Patrick Reed’s incredible shot on the par-5 4th hole at this year’s US Open stunned fans. Using his fairway wood for his second shot from 261 meters, he holed an albatross—only the fourth ever in US Open history and the first at Oakmont.
