The second season of TGL begins with a familiar showdown. On December 28, Atlanta Drive GC and New York Golf Club will face off once again, reprising the final matchup from the inaugural season. Atlanta narrowly won both final matches by a single point and enters the new season as reigning champion. Before the first tee shot, the championship banner will be raised to the rafters, followed by a match in the familiar format featuring Triples and Singles segments. Both teams begin with three Hammers, with Atlanta teeing off on the first hole. The lineups feature familiar names: Cameron Young, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Xander Schauffele for New York; Patrick Cantlay, Lucas Glover, and Billy Horschel for Atlanta.

New season, upgraded playing field
With the new season, TGL has introduced technical updates to the playing surface. The GreenZone has been significantly expanded, offering more flag positions and variable putting lines. Beneath the turf, new actuators create dynamic contours, adding tactical depth. The hole catalog has also been updated, introducing new holes like Stone & Steeple, Stinger, and Cenote. The course also features team-themed holes such as Fore-0-Fore for Atlanta and Big Apple for New York. A total of 15 specially designed holes will be played.
