TGL Season 2 kicks off with Atlanta vs. New York rematch

TGL returns with a high-profile rematch between Atlanta Drive GC and New York Golf Club at the SoFi Center.

The second season of TGL tees off with a familiar showdown as Atlanta Drive GC and New York Golf Club face off once again on December 28 at the SoFi Center. These two teams last met in the Season 1 finale, where Atlanta narrowly claimed the title by a single point in both final matches. Before the first shot is struck, Atlanta will raise their championship banner, setting the stage for a match played in the familiar Triples and Singles format. Each team begins with three Hammers, with Atlanta starting on the first hole. Star-studded lineups return: Cameron Young, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Xander Schauffele for New York; Patrick Cantlay, Lucas Glover, and Billy Horschel for Atlanta.

Atlanta Drive GC returns with proven strengths

Atlanta Drive GC enters the new TGL season with strong metrics from last year. The team excelled in Singles play, leading the league in Hammer points. Billy Horschel topped the league in Singles points won, Patrick Cantlay remained unbeaten in Singles against New York, and Lucas Glover impressed with flawless fairway accuracy. New York Golf Club rebounded from an 0–2 start to reach the playoffs, powered by Cameron Young, who led all players in total points and made an impact with his driving distance.

New season brings technical upgrades

TGL has introduced several enhancements for Season 2. The GreenZone has been expanded, offering more pin positions and variable putting lines. New actuators beneath the turf allow for dynamic contours, adding strategic complexity. The hole catalog has also been updated with new designs like Stone & Steeple, Stinger, and Cenote. Team-themed holes such as Fore-0-Fore for Atlanta and Big Apple for New York add a unique twist. A total of 15 custom-designed holes will be played.
