Bernhard Langer vividly remembers his first appearance at the PNC Championship. Back then, his son was still in high school—young, ambitious, and suddenly among the greats. “We had a blast,” Langer recalls. “At the time, he had to compete against pro teams—hitting drives and aiming for the green with an 8-iron, even though he was three over par.” It wasn’t easy, but that wasn’t the point. “It was just a wonderful time.” For Langer, it marked the beginning of a tradition that continues to this day. “I loved this tournament from the very first moment I was invited.”

The PNC Championship brings together golfers who have made history. For Bernhard Langer, that’s part of the magic. “Being out there with other Major champions and legends of the game is something truly special,” he says.
