TGL returns with a high-stakes rematch between Atlanta Drive GC and New York Golf Club at the SoFi Center.
The second season of TGL tees off with a familiar showdown. On December 28, Atlanta Drive GC and New York Golf Club meet again in the SoFi Center, reprising their dramatic Season 1 final. Atlanta narrowly claimed both final matches and enters the new season as defending champions. Before the first tee shot, the championship banner will be raised, followed by the match in the familiar Triples and Singles format. Both teams begin with three Hammers, with Atlanta teeing off first. Star-studded lineups return: Cameron Young, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Xander Schauffele for New York; Patrick Cantlay, Lucas Glover, and Billy Horschel for Atlanta.
Atlanta Drive GC Builds on Proven Strengths
Atlanta Drive GC enters Season 2 with strong metrics from last year. The team was particularly dominant in Singles play, leading the league in Hammer points. Billy Horschel topped the league in Singles points won, Patrick Cantlay remained undefeated in head-to-head Singles against New York, and Lucas Glover impressed with flawless fairway accuracy. New York Golf Club rebounded from an 0–2 start to make the playoffs, with Cameron Young leading all players in points and showcasing his power off the tee.
New Tech Enhances TGL Playing Field
Season 2 also brings technical upgrades to the TGL arena. The GreenZone has been significantly expanded, offering more pin positions and varied putting lines. Beneath the turf, new actuators create adjustable contours, adding tactical depth. The hole catalog has also been refreshed, introducing new designs like Stone & Steeple, Stinger, and Cenote. Team-themed holes such as Fore-0-Fore for Atlanta and Big Apple for New York round out the 15 custom-designed holes.
