Team Kuchar wins PNC Championship, Langer duo finishes T7

Bernhard Langer and son Jason played well at the PNC Championship but missed the podium as defending champions.

The 2025 PNC Championship, held at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Orlando, Florida, concluded with Team Kuchar taking the title. The family team event, marking the season finale of the PGA Champions Tour, was played in a two-round scramble format. Among the participants were Bernhard Langer and his son Jason (T7), as well as fan favorite John Daly and his son John II (T2).

Team Kuchar, featuring 2016 Ryder Cup winner Matt Kuchar and his son Cameron, delivered a dominant performance. On Saturday, they carded 15 birdies for a flawless round of 57. They followed up with 14 birdies and two eagles on Sunday, finishing at 33-under-par to claim a convincing victory.

Trailing behind were Team Daly and Team Love, both tied for second at 26-under-par. John Daly and his son John II impressed with back-to-back rounds of 59, each featuring nine birdies and two eagles. Davis Love III and his son Dru opened with a 60 (-12) and followed with a bogey-free round of 58, thanks to 14 birdies.

Nelly Korda shines in family format

Former Ryder Cup captain Steve Stricker and his daughter Izzi tied for fourth at 25-under-par with Team Korda. LPGA star and Olympic gold medalist Nelly Korda was the only active female pro in the field, teaming up with her father Petr. They posted rounds of 60 and 59 to secure a strong finish.

Bernhard Langer finishes T7

Defending champions Bernhard and Jason Langer couldn’t replicate last year’s success. The two-time Masters champion and his son opened with a bogey-free 61 (-11) and improved to a 60 (-10) on Sunday. Their 23-under-par total placed them in a tie for seventh.
