Team Kuchar wins 2025 PNC Championship, Langer finishes T7

Bernhard Langer and son Jason played well at the PNC Championship but missed the podium as defending champions.

The 2025 PNC Championship, held at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Orlando, Florida, concluded with Team Kuchar taking the title. The family-team event, played in a scramble format over two rounds, marked the season finale of the PGA Champions Tour. Bernhard Langer and his son Jason finished tied for seventh, while fan favorite John Daly and his son John II shared second place with Team Love.

Team Kuchar, consisting of 2016 Ryder Cup winner Matt Kuchar and his son Cameron, delivered a flawless performance. On Saturday, they carded 15 birdies for a 57 (-15), and followed up with 14 birdies and two eagles on Sunday. Their total of 33-under-par secured a dominant victory.

Team Daly and Team Love both finished at 26-under-par. John Daly and his son impressed with back-to-back rounds of 59, each featuring nine birdies and two eagles. Davis Love III and his son Dru opened with a 60 (-12) and closed with a bogey-free round including 14 birdies.

Nelly Korda Shines in Family Format

Former Ryder Cup captain Steve Stricker teamed up with his daughter Izzi, finishing tied for fourth at 25-under-par. They shared the position with Team Korda, featuring two-time major champion and Olympic gold medalist Nelly Korda and her father Petr. The Kordas opened with a 60 and improved to a 59 on Sunday, making Nelly the only LPGA Tour player in the field.

Bernhard Langer Misses Podium at PNC Championship

Defending champions Bernhard Langer and his son Jason delivered solid rounds of 61 (-11) and 60 (-10), but their 23-under-par total was only good enough for a share of seventh place. The two-time Masters champion from Germany showed strong form, but it wasn’t enough to repeat last year’s success.
