DP World Tour: von Dellingshausen Holds Top 20, Kieffer Slips Further

Nicolai von Dellingshausen remains in the top 20 after round three of the Genesis Championship, while Max Kieffer drops back.

During the third round of the Genesis Championship on the DP World Tour, Nicolai von Dellingshausen managed to stay within the top 20 despite a less-than-ideal finish. On the front nine, he balanced one birdie with one bogey to stay even par. However, the back nine proved more challenging, with two bogeys outweighing a single birdie, resulting in a +1 for the round. Despite the average performance, von Dellingshausen remains tied for 19th place with ten other players at three under par, just one stroke behind the next position.

At the top of the leaderboard, Sweden’s Mikael Lindberg and Spain’s Nacho Elvira share the lead at eight under par. Elvira had a rocky start with a bogey on the first hole and a double bogey on the third, but recovered with five birdies to finish the round at two under. Lindberg played a more consistent round, carding six birdies and two bogeys—one on each nine—to finish four under for the day.

Max Kieffer struggles to gain ground

Max Kieffer had a promising start on the front nine with two birdies and one bogey, suggesting a solid round. However, he couldn’t maintain the momentum on the back nine, where he played par until a costly mistake on a par-4 hole. A tee shot into a water hazard led to two penalty strokes and a double bogey, ending his round at two over par. Kieffer now sits tied for 62nd place at two over for the tournament, alongside eight other players.
