German players miss the cut at Asian Tour event
It was a disappointing second round for the German contingent at the Link Hong Kong Open. With the cut set at -5, none of the three German players — Martin Kaymer, Maximilian Rottluff, or Dominic Foos — managed to qualify for the weekend rounds. Dominic Foos came closest, finishing at -3 after a round of 70. His front nine included bogeys at holes 2 and 9 and a double bogey at the 5th. Martin Kaymer started well with a 67 on day one, but a double bogey on the first hole of round two set him back. Despite playing a clean back nine and adding a birdie on 17, his 72 left him at -1 overall, tied for 109th. Maximilian Rottluff also opened with a promising 66, but
