DP World Tour: von Dellingshausen holds Top 20, Kieffer slips back

Nicolai von Dellingshausen remains steady in the Top 20 after Round 3, while Max Kieffer continues to fall behind.

During the third round of the Genesis Championship on the DP World Tour, Nicolai von Dellingshausen managed to stay within the Top 20 despite a less-than-ideal finish. On the front nine, he balanced a birdie and a bogey to stay even. The back nine saw two bogeys outweigh a single birdie, resulting in a one-over-par round. Still, von Dellingshausen holds his position in the upper third of the leaderboard, currently tied for 19th with ten other players at three under par, just one stroke behind the next group.

At the top of the leaderboard, Sweden’s Mikael Lindberg and Spain’s Nacho Elvira share the lead at eight under par. Elvira had a rocky start with a bogey on the first hole and a double bogey on the third, but recovered with five birdies to finish two under for the day. Lindberg maintained a steady birdie pace with six total, offset by a bogey on each half of the course, carding a four-under-par round.

Max Kieffer struggles to gain ground

Max Kieffer started strong on the front nine with two birdies and a bogey, suggesting a promising round. However, he played par throughout the back nine until a tee shot found the water hazard, resulting in a double bogey on a par-4. He finished the day at two over par and is now tied for 62nd place with eight other players at two over for the tournament.
