Team Kuchar wins PNC Championship 2025, Langer finishes T7

Bernhard Langer and his son Jason played well at the PNC Championship but missed the podium as defending champions.

The PNC Championship, held at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Orlando, Florida, marked the season finale of the 2025 PGA Champions Tour. Played in a two-day scramble format, the family team event saw Team Kuchar take the title ahead of Team Love and Team Daly. Bernhard Langer and his son Jason finished tied for seventh, while fan favorite John Daly and his son John II shared second place.

Team Kuchar, consisting of 2016 Ryder Cup winner Matt Kuchar and his son Cameron, delivered a dominant performance. On Saturday, they posted a flawless round with 15 birdies. They followed up on Sunday with 14 birdies and two eagles, finishing at 33-under-par to secure a comfortable victory.

Teams Daly and Love both finished at 26-under-par to share second place. John Daly and his son opened with nine birdies and two eagles and repeated the feat on Sunday with another 59. Davis Love III, the 1997 PGA Champion, and his son Dru started with a 60 (-12) and added 14 birdies on Sunday to stay near the top.

Nelly Korda shines in family format

Former Ryder Cup captain Steve Stricker teamed up with his daughter Izzi to finish tied for fourth at 25-under-par. Sharing that spot was Team Korda, featuring two-time major winner and Olympic gold medalist Nelly Korda and her father Petr. They opened with a 60 and improved to a 59 on Sunday, making Nelly the only LPGA Tour pro in the field.

Bernhard Langer finishes T7

Defending champion and two-time Masters winner Bernhard Langer, alongside his son Jason, started with a bogey-free 61 (-11) and improved to a 60 (-10) on Sunday. Despite the strong showing, they finished tied for seventh at 23-under-par, missing out on a podium finish.
