Team Kuchar wins PNC Championship, Langer duo finishes T7

Bernhard Langer and his son Jason played well at the PNC Championship but missed the podium as defending champions.

The 2025 PNC Championship, held at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Orlando, Florida, concluded the PGA Champions Tour season in a festive family-team format. Team Kuchar emerged victorious, finishing ahead of Team Love and Team Daly. The event, played in a two-day scramble format, featured golf legends and their family members, including Bernhard Langer and his son Jason, who tied for 7th place.

Matt Kuchar, a 2016 Ryder Cup winner, teamed up with his son Cameron to dominate the tournament. On Saturday, they posted a flawless round with 15 birdies, followed by another stellar performance on Sunday with 14 birdies and two eagles. Their total of 33-under-par secured a clear win.

Team Daly and Team Love shared second place at 26-under-par. John Daly and his son John II impressed with back-to-back rounds of 59, each featuring nine birdies and two eagles. Davis Love III and his son Dru followed up a Saturday 60 with a bogey-free Sunday round that included 14 birdies.

Nelly Korda Shines in Fourth Place

Former Ryder Cup captain Steve Stricker and his daughter Izzi tied for fourth with Team Korda. LPGA star and Olympic gold medalist Nelly Korda was the only active tour pro in the field and played alongside her father Petr. They opened with a 60 and improved to a 59 on Sunday, finishing at 25-under-par.

Bernhard Langer Misses Podium

Defending champion and two-time Masters winner Bernhard Langer, alongside his son Jason, started strong with a bogey-free 61 on Saturday. They followed up with a 60 on Sunday, but their 23-under-par total was only enough for a tie for seventh place.
