Marc Hammer secures his Asian Tour card after a five-hole playoff at Q-School in Hua Hin. Lin Yuxin tops the leaderboard.

The final stage of the Asian Tour Qualifying School (Q-School) concluded at the Lake View Resort and Golf Club in Hua Hin, Thailand, with 35 players earning their cards for the 2025 season. Among them was German golfer Marc Hammer, who clinched his spot after a dramatic playoff. Leading the field was China’s Lin Yuxin, who delivered a stellar performance over five rounds to finish at 16-under-par and claim the top position.

Lin Yuxin dominates Asian Tour Q-School

Left-hander Lin Yuxin impressed throughout the week, capping off his campaign with a final-round 67 (-4) to go with earlier rounds of 68–67–70–67. The 25-year-old, a two-time Asia-Pacific Amateur champion and former University of Florida standout, turned professional in 2023. He has since competed on the PGA Tour Americas and selected Korn Ferry Tour events. Reflecting on his recent struggles with putting, Lin said, “I played well all season, but had issues with the putter, especially in the summer. I worked hard on it in October and November, and now my game feels solid again.”

India’s Shaurya Bhattacharya followed closely behind, finishing at 15-under-par after a final-round 72 that included four bogeys. He had posted rounds of 70–67–65–66 earlier in the week. Canadian Henry Lee took third place at 14-under-par.

After five tense holes, eight players emerged with cards, including Germany’s Marc Hammer. The 27-year-old from Sandhausen delivered a consistent performance throughout the week, finishing with rounds of 71–67–72–70–70. Hammer, who has prior experience on the DP World Tour and recorded three top-10 finishes last season, now adds the Asian Tour to his resume.

Other German hopefuls, including Nicolas Horder (T93), Philipp Katich (T100), Wolfgang Glawe (T118), and Julius Kreutzer (T118), failed to make the cut after the fourth round.
