Linn Grant claims second LPGA title at The ANNIKA in Florida

Linn Grant secures her second LPGA title at The ANNIKA, while Henseleit impresses and Krauter narrowly retains her tour card.

Swedish golfer Linn Grant delivered a commanding performance to win The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican, held in Belleair, Florida. After opening with a 68 on Thursday, Grant surged up the leaderboard with a 63 on Friday. She followed that up with a 65 on Saturday to take a one-shot lead into the final round. Another 65 on Sunday sealed her victory, finishing three strokes ahead of major champion Jennifer Kupcho, who closed at 16-under-par. Gaby Lopez took solo third at 15-under, while Charley Hull, Auston Kim, and Lucy Li shared fourth place, five shots behind Grant.

While the spotlight was on the top contenders, The ANNIKA also served as a crucial event for players fighting to secure spots in the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship (Nov 20–23, 2025) and to retain their LPGA Tour cards. The top 60 in the CME points standings qualify for the championship, while the top 100 maintain LPGA membership for the next season.

Henseleit shines, Krauter clings to LPGA status

Germany’s Esther Henseleit finished tied for 15th at 9-under-par, securing 41st place in the Race to CME Globe standings and a spot in the CME finale. Olivia Cowan ended tied for 48th, finishing the season 123rd in the standings and missing out on automatic LPGA status for 2025. Despite missing the cut with rounds of 70 and 72, Aline Krauter managed to hold onto the 100th spot in the standings, narrowly retaining her tour card. Alongside Swiss player Albane Valenzuela, who finished T65, Henseleit and Krauter are the only DACH-region players confirmed for the 2025 LPGA season.

Kai Trump’s LPGA debut falls short

Kai Trump, granddaughter of former U.S. President Donald Trump, made her LPGA debut at The ANNIKA but missed the cut after rounds of 83 and 75, finishing last on the leaderboard. Trump, who has received support from her grandfather and 15-time major champion Tiger Woods—currently in a relationship with her mother Vanessa—will look to bounce back in future events.
