HotelPlanner Tour 2026 unveils global schedule across 19 countries

The 2026 HotelPlanner Tour spans 19 countries, including a debut in Estonia, and concludes with the Grand Final in Mallorca.

The HotelPlanner Tour has released its global schedule for the Road to Mallorca 2026. Estonia will host a tournament for the first time, while England returns to the calendar after a three-year absence. The tour will visit 19 countries across three continents and will again offer a total prize fund of €9 million. This marks the second year of a multi-year title sponsorship with technology company HotelPlanner.

Estonia debuts, England returns to the calendar

The 28-event schedule sees England return for the first time since 2023, with the England Golf Challenge at The Vale Golf Club in June and the English Challenge at The Caversham in September. Estonia becomes the 52nd country to host a HotelPlanner Tour event since its inception in 1989, with the Infortar Estonian Challenge taking place in July at Estonian Golf & Country Club near Tallinn—the first new nation added since 2020.

The season kicks off for the sixth consecutive year in South Africa, with the SDC Open at Zebula Golf Estate & Spa as the first of four co-sanctioned events with the Sunshine Tour. In April, the tour returns to the UAE for the Abu Dhabi Challenge and the RAKBANK UAE Challenge, part of a long-term partnership between the European Tour group and the Emirates Golf Federation.

European stretch begins in May with packed schedule

In May, the Road to Mallorca begins its European leg with the Italian Challenge Open, launching a 20-week stretch featuring 19 tournaments across 16 countries. The Blot Open de Bretagne returns for its 19th edition at Golf Bluegreen de Pléneuf Val André, while the Vierumäki Finnish Challenge celebrates its 10th appearance on the tour.

New venues for 2026 include Isla Canela Links for the 27th Challenge de España and Fontanals Golf Club for the Challenge de Catalunya. PGA Aroeira 1 in Lisbon debuts as host of the Open de Portugal. In October, the tour returns to China for back-to-back events—the Hainan Open and the Hangzhou Open—offering players a final chance to qualify for the Rolex Grand Final supported by The R&A.

Major incentives for top performers

The season finale will be held for the sixth time at Club de Golf Alcanada in Mallorca from October 29 to November 1. The top-ranked players will compete for 15 coveted DP World Tour cards. These graduates will be eligible for the DP World Tour’s Earnings Assurance Programme, guaranteeing minimum earnings of $150,000 for the 2027 season if they play at least 15 events. The top five will also benefit from the John Jacobs Bursary, offering financial security and a strong platform for their global careers.

Jamie Hodges, Director of the HotelPlanner Tour, commented: “This schedule allows us to build on the momentum from 2025 while continuing to provide the best platform for emerging golf talent. Last year’s graduates claimed four wins on the Race to Dubai, with three earning dual membership with the PGA TOUR after the DP World Tour
