Season finale: DP World Tour heads to Mauritius while Champions Tour features a family scramble event in Florida.
The final two events of the 2025 golf calendar are set to take place in the week leading up to Christmas. The DP World Tour joins forces with the Sunshine Tour for a four-day tournament at La Réserve Golf Links in La Ombre, located on the picturesque island of Mauritius. Last year, John Parry claimed victory at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open. This year, a strong South African contingent is joined by several German players, including Marcel Siem, Dominic Foos, and Freddy Schott, all vying for the final trophy of the year.
Family affair on the Champions Tour
The PGA Champions Tour traditionally ends the year with a family-themed scramble event. Taking place on Saturday and Sunday at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida, family duos will compete in a relaxed yet competitive format. Defending champions Bernhard Langer and his son Jason return to the field, while fan favorite John Daly teams up once again with his son John Daly II. LPGA star Nelly Korda will also participate alongside her father, former tennis pro Petr Korda, showcasing the athletic prowess of the Korda family.
Nelly Korda’s golfing roots run deep. Her older sister, Jessica Korda, is also a professional golfer and recently made a minor comeback at the Grant Thornton Invitational after recovering from a back injury.
Florida: Golf and more
Orlando, Florida, known for its world-famous theme parks like Walt Disney World, is also a winter hotspot for top-tier golf events. Later in December, the innovative Tomorrow Golf League will debut at the purpose-built SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, adding another highlight to the Sunshine State’s golfing calendar.
Both the DP World Tour and Champions Tour events will be broadcast on Sky Sports.
