The 2025 season is coming to an end. We look back at the biggest highlight shots of the year and recall the unique moments of 2025 – The Year in Review.

As the 2025 season wraps up, it’s time to look back. With the European team’s Ryder Cup success, Rory McIlroy’s Grand Slam achievement, and many other highlights, there is much to remember this year. Rarely do we think of the individual shots that led to these achievements, yet the shots are often as spectacular as the victories themselves. This year again brought legendary shots that players and fans alike will remember for a long time.

Rory McIlroy’s 15th Hole at the Masters

Probably the most legendary shot of the year came at the 15th hole of the Masters. After 14 holes, Rory McIlroy was tied with Justin Rose and Ludvig Aberg. His tee shot strayed slightly left, leaving a tree between him and the green for his second shot on the par-5 hole. While most players would have played it safe to get into a better position or settle for par, McIlroy took full risk and hit an enormous draw toward the green, landing the ball close to the pin. This shot not only demonstrated the Northern Irishman’s skill but also his incredible determination to finally win the Masters and complete the Career Grand Slam in 2025.

Patrick Reed Makes Golf History with Albatross at the US Open

Oakmont is considered one of the toughest golf courses globally, and the US Open is a tournament where a round under par already offers a chance to win. Patrick Reed’s second shot on the 568-meter par-5 fourth hole at the 2025 US Open was incredible. Using a fairway wood, he holed out from 261 meters for an albatross – only the fourth in US Open history and the first ever at Oakmont.

After a grueling four days and a challenging Sunday, Spaun needed only to sink a par putt on the back nine to claim his first Major. But the American had other plans and holed a 20-meter birdie putt to clinch the title.

Longest Putt on the PGA Tour Since 2008: 32 Meters

At the Valero Texas Open on the PGA Tour, Patrick Fishburn became a tournament highlight despite finishing tied for fifth. On the 17th hole, he sank a 32-meter putt – the longest on the PGA Tour since 2008 – propelling him into the top 5 on the final day.

Rory McIlroy’s Eagle to Force Playoff at the Irish Open

On September 7 at the 18th hole of the K Club in Ireland, an ecstatic roar erupted as Rory McIlroy, facing adversity, holed an 8
