The culmination of a years brilliant fundraising by the members of Withington Golf Club for the fantastic The Oasis Centre. An amazing local charity that so brilliantly makes a huge difference to the community.
Impact of Fundraising
40,000 meals served, 100 people a day benefit from a calm, warm space, crisis support for all that need it, education from reading and numeracy to job application support, and one person per week into work, supported by 70 amazing volunteers.
Celebrating Our Achievements
What a great charity we chose this year. Lady Captain, Denise Mitchell, President, Tex McIvor, Captain, tony.longden. Not forgetting Deborah Hanson, our fabulous charity coordinator and Bob Ganley, who personally added almost £2000 to the total through his Manchester History walking tours. Add in some magic from corporate sponsor Roger Hannah and Co.
