Tiger Woods to Celebrate 50th Birthday with Star-Studded Event

Tiger Woods’ 50th birthday party in January features a star lineup, top music act, and title sponsor.Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30, and the milestone will be celebrated in style. His foundation is hosting a grand event on January 14 with an exclusive guest list, a star performance, and even a title sponsor, reports Front Office Sports.

The Occasion

A golf legend like Tiger Woods turning 50 calls for a big celebration. Under the theme “RED: Celebrating Legacy,” around 300 guests will celebrate at the luxury resort The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. The event is hosted by Woods’ foundation, the TGR Foundation, aiming to honor his achievements on and off the course while looking ahead to the future. Attendees include friends like Justin Thomas and longtime caddie Joe LaCava, along with other sports personalities.

The Theme

The evening will focus fully on the birthday honoree. The dress code is “a touch of red,” recalling the iconic final round outfit of the 15-time major champion that also inspired his clothing line. The dinner menu is inspired by the meals Tiger served at the Champions Dinner following his five Masters wins, including elements from the McDonald’s-themed menu from his first Masters where Woods served cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. The night culminates with a performance by Jon Bon Jovi, with Ernst & Young as the title sponsor of the evening.

The Cause

The celebration not only marks 50 years of Tiger Woods’ life but also the 30th anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise $50 million during the event to support the expansion of the TGR Learning Labs, which provide free STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics), career programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
