Tiger Woods’ 50th Birthday Bash with Star Guests and Charity Focus

Tiger Woods’ birthday party in January features a star-studded guest list, top music act, and a title sponsor.

Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30th, and the occasion will be celebrated in style. His foundation is hosting a large party on January 14th with an exclusive guest list, a music star, and even a title sponsor, reports Front Office Sports.

The Occasion

When a golf legend like Tiger Woods turns 50, it calls for a grand celebration. Under the theme “RED: Celebrating Legacy,” about 300 guests will join the festivities at the luxury resort The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. The event is organized by Woods’ foundation, the TGR Foundation, aiming to celebrate his achievements on and off the golf course while also looking to the future. The guest list includes friends such as Justin Thomas and Woods’ longtime caddie Joe LaCava, along with other sports icons.

The Theme

The evening will revolve around the birthday honoree. The dress code is “a touch of red,” inspired by the iconic final outfit of the 15-time major winner, which also inspired his own clothing line. The menu is inspired by the meals Tiger enjoyed at the Champions Dinner following his five Masters wins, possibly including elements of the McDonald’s-inspired meal from his first Masters, where Woods famously had cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. A performance by Jon Bon Jovi will cap off the night, which is sponsored by the accounting firm Ernst & Young.

Supporting a Good Cause

The event does not only celebrate Tiger Woods’ 50 years but also marks the 30th anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise $50 million during the evening to support the expansion of TGR Learning Labs, which offer free STEAM education (science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics), career programs, and wellness activities to middle and high school students.
