Tiger Woods’ 50th Birthday Bash: Star-Studded Party in Florida

With a star-studded guest list, top music act, and title sponsor, Tiger Woods’ January birthday celebration is set to be spectacular.

Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30, a milestone that calls for a grand celebration. His foundation is hosting a major party on January 14, featuring an exclusive guest list, a star music act, and even a title sponsor, according to Front Office Sports.

The Occasion

A golf legend like Tiger Woods turning 50 deserves a big celebration. Under the theme “RED: Celebrating Legacy,” approximately 300 guests will gather for a lavish party at the luxury resort The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. The event is organized by Woods’ TGR Foundation to honor his achievements on and off the golf course and to look toward the future. Guest list highlights include friends like Justin Thomas and longtime caddie Joe LaCava, along with other sports figures.

The Theme

The evening will revolve around the birthday star. The dress code is “a touch of red,” referencing the iconic final-round outfit of the 15-time major winner, which also inspired his clothing line. The menu is inspired by the meals Tiger enjoyed at the Champions Dinner after his five Masters victories, potentially including elements from the McDonald’s-inspired menu of his first Masters win, featuring cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. A performance by Jon Bon Jovi rounds out the night, with Ernst & Young as the event’s presenting sponsor.

The Cause

Beyond celebrating Tiger Woods’ 50 years, the event also marks the 30th anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise 50 million dollars during the evening to expand TGR Learning Labs, which offer free STEAM education (science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics), career programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
