Tiger Woods’ birthday celebration in January boasts a star-studded guest list, top music act, and a title sponsor.
Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30, and the milestone will be celebrated in style. His foundation is hosting a grand party on January 14, featuring an exclusive guest list, a star music act, and even a title sponsor, reports Front Office Sports.
The Occasion
When a golf legend like Tiger Woods turns 50, it calls for a big celebration. The event, themed “RED: Celebrating Legacy,” will be attended by around 300 guests and held at the luxury resort The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. Organized by Woods’ TGR Foundation, the event aims to celebrate Tiger Woods’ achievements both on and off the golf course while also looking ahead to the future. Friends like Justin Thomas, longtime caddie Joe LaCava, and other sports personalities are on the guest list.
Party Theme and Highlights
The evening will center on the birthday honoree. The dress code is “a touch of red,” honoring the iconic final outfit worn by the 15-time major winner, which also inspired his own clothing line. The dinner menu draws inspiration from the meals Tiger enjoyed at the Champions Dinners after his five Masters victories, possibly including elements from the McDonald’s-inspired menu of his first Masters win featuring cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. A performance by Jon Bon Jovi rounds off the night, which is presented by title sponsor Ernst & Young.
Supporting a Worthy Cause
The event not only celebrates Tiger Woods’ 50 years but also marks the 30th anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise $50 million to expand the TGR Learning Labs, which offer free STEAM education (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics), career-related programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
