Tiger Woods’ 50th Birthday Bash Features Star-Studded Guest List & Charity

Tiger Woods’ 50th birthday party in January includes a star-studded guest list, top music act, and a title sponsor.

Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30, and a grand celebration is set to take place. His foundation is hosting a large party on January 14 with an exclusive guest list, a star music act, and a title sponsor, as reported by Front Office Sports.

The Occasion

When a golf legend like Tiger Woods turns 50, it calls for a big celebration. Under the theme “RED: Celebrating Legacy,” about 300 guests will join the festivity at the luxury resort The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. The event is organized by Woods’ foundation, the TGR Foundation, aiming to honor Tiger Woods’ achievements both on and off the golf course, while also looking ahead to the future. Friends including Justin Thomas and Woods’ longtime caddie Joe LaCava, along with other sports figures, are on the guest list.

The Theme

The evening will revolve around the birthday honoree. The dress code is “a touch of red,” in homage to the iconic final outfit of the 15-time major winner, which also inspired his own clothing line. The menu draws inspiration from the dinners Tiger enjoyed at the Champions Dinner following his five Masters victories, including elements from the McDonald’s-inspired meal he chose for his first Masters win, featuring cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. A performance by Jon Bon Jovi will round off the evening, which is sponsored by the auditing firm Ernst & Young.

The Cause

The event is not only a celebration of 50 years of Tiger Woods’ life but also marks the 30th anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise 50 million dollars at the event to expand the TGR Learning Labs, providing free STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics), career programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
