Tiger Woods’ 50th Birthday Celebration with Star Guests and Charity

Tiger Woods’ birthday party in January features star guests, top music, and a title sponsor supporting his foundation.

Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30, and his milestone birthday is set to be celebrated in grand style. His foundation is hosting a major party on January 14 with an exclusive guest list, a star musical act, and even a title sponsor, reports Front Office Sports.

The Occasion

When a golf legend like Tiger Woods reaches 50, it calls for a big celebration. Under the motto “RED: Celebrating Legacy,” the milestone birthday will be celebrated with about 300 guests at the luxurious The Breakers resort in Palm Beach, Florida. The event is organized by Woods’ foundation, the TGR Foundation, aiming to celebrate Woods’ achievements on and off the golf course while also looking towards the future. The guest list includes friends such as Justin Thomas and Woods’ longtime caddie Joe LaCava, along with other notable sports figures.

The Theme

The evening will revolve entirely around the birthday honoree. The dress code is “a touch of red,” recalling the iconic final-round outfit of the 15-time major winner, which also inspired his own clothing line. The evening’s menu is inspired by the meals Tiger chose for his Champions Dinners following his five Masters victories. This could include elements of the McDonald’s-inspired menu from his first Masters win, when Woods served cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. A performance by Jon Bon Jovi will round off the evening, which even has its own sponsor: the accounting firm Ernst & Young presents the event.

The Cause

The event not only celebrates 50 years of Tiger Woods’ life but also marks the 30th anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise 50 million dollars during the evening to support the expansion of the TGR Learning Labs, which provide free STEAM education (science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics), career programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
