Tiger Woods to Celebrate 50th Birthday with Star-Studded Event

Tiger Woods’ 50th birthday celebration in January features a top guest list, live music, and a title sponsor.

Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30, and the milestone is set to be celebrated in style. His foundation is hosting a grand party on January 14 with an exclusive guest list, a star music act, and even a title sponsor, reports Front Office Sports.

The Occasion

When a golf legend like Tiger Woods turns 50, it’s only fitting to celebrate in a big way. Under the theme “RED: Celebrating Legacy,” the milestone birthday will be celebrated with approximately 300 guests at the luxury resort The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. The event is organized by Woods’ foundation, the TGR Foundation, aiming to honor his achievements both on and off the golf course while also looking toward the future. The guest list includes friends such as Justin Thomas, Woods’ longtime caddie Joe LaCava, and other sports stars.

The Theme

The evening will revolve around the birthday honoree. The dress code is “a touch of red,” reminiscent of the iconic final-round outfit of the 15-time major winner, which also inspired his own clothing line. The evening’s menu is further inspired by the meals Tiger enjoyed at the Champions Dinners following his five Masters victories, potentially including elements from the McDonald’s-inspired menu of his first Masters win, when Woods served cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. A performance by Jon Bon Jovi will cap off the night, which even has its own sponsor: the accounting firm Ernst & Young is presenting the event.

For a Good Cause

However, the event is not just to celebrate 50 years of Tiger Woods’ life but also to mark the 30th anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise $50 million during the evening to support expanding TGR Learning Labs, which provide free STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) education, career-related programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
