Tiger Woods’ 50th Birthday Party Features Star-Studded Guests and Charity

Tiger Woods’ birthday celebration in January includes a star-studded guest list, top music act, and a title sponsor.

Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30, and the milestone is set to be celebrated in style. His foundation is organizing a grand party on January 14 with an exclusive guest list, a star music act, and even a title sponsor, reports Front Office Sports.

The Occasion

A golf legend like Tiger Woods turning 50 is a big event worth celebrating. Under the theme ‘RED: Celebrating Legacy,’ the milestone birthday will be celebrated with around 300 guests at the luxury resort The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. The event is hosted by Woods’ foundation, the TGR Foundation, aiming to honor his achievements on and off the golf course while also looking towards the future. The guest list includes friends such as Justin Thomas, Woods’ longtime caddie Joe LaCava, and other notable figures from the sports world.

The Theme

The evening will be centered around the birthday honoree. The dress code is ‘a touch of red,’ inspired by the iconic final outfit of the 15-time major winner, which also inspired his own clothing line. The evening’s menu is inspired by the meals served at Tiger’s Champions Dinners following his five Masters victories. This may include elements from the McDonald’s-inspired menu from his first Masters win, where Woods famously served cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. A performance by Jon Bon Jovi will cap off the evening, which has a dedicated sponsor: the accounting firm Ernst & Young presents the event.

Supporting a Good Cause

The event not only celebrates 50 years of Tiger Woods’ life but also marks the 30th anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise 50 million dollars at the event to expand the TGR Learning Labs, which offer free STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics), career-related programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
