Tiger Woods to Celebrate 50th Birthday with Star-Studded Event in January

Tiger Woods’ birthday celebration in January includes a star-studded guest list, top music act, and title sponsor.

Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30, and the milestone will be celebrated in style. His foundation is hosting a grand party on January 14 with an exclusive guest list, a star music act, and even a title sponsor, reports Front Office Sports.

The Occasion

When a golf legend like Tiger Woods turns 50, it calls for a big celebration. Under the motto ‘RED: Celebrating Legacy,’ the milestone birthday will be celebrated with approximately 300 guests in attendance. The party will take place at the luxury resort The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. The event is organized by Woods’ foundation, the TGR Foundation, aiming to honor Tiger Woods’ achievements on and off the golf course and to look ahead to the future. The guest list includes friends such as Justin Thomas and Woods’ longtime caddie Joe LaCava, as well as other sports figures.

The Theme

The evening will fully honor the birthday boy. The dress code is ‘a touch of red,’ inspired by the iconic final outfit of the 15-time major winner, which also inspired his own clothing line. The evening’s menu is additionally inspired by the meals Tiger was served at the Champions Dinner after his five Masters wins. This could include elements from the McDonald’s-inspired menu from his first Masters victory, when Woods served cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. A performance by Jon Bon Jovi will round off the evening, which even has its own sponsor: the auditing firm Ernst & Young presents the night.

For a Good Cause

The event not only celebrates 50 years of Tiger Woods’ life but also marks the 30th anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise 50 million dollars during the evening to support the expansion of TGR Learning Labs, which offer free STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics), career-oriented programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
