Tiger Woods’ 50th Birthday Bash with Star Guests and Charity Focus

Tiger Woods’ January birthday celebration features a star-studded guest list, top music act, and title sponsor.

Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30th, and the milestone will be celebrated in style. His foundation is hosting a grand party on January 14th with an exclusive guest list, a star music act, and even a title sponsor, reports Front Office Sports.

The Occasion

When a golf legend like Tiger Woods turns 50, it calls for a big celebration. Under the motto ‘RED: Celebrating Legacy,’ about 300 guests will gather for a lavish party at the luxury resort The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. The event is organized by Woods’ TGR Foundation aiming to honor his achievements on and off the course and look ahead to the future. The guest list includes friends like Justin Thomas, Woods’ longtime caddie Joe LaCava, and other prominent sports figures.

The Theme

The evening will revolve around the birthday honoree. The dress code is ‘a touch of red,’ recalling the iconic final round outfit of the 15-time major champion, which also inspired his own clothing line. The menu is inspired by those served at the Champions Dinner following Woods’ five Masters wins, possibly including elements from the McDonald’s-inspired meal of his first Masters victory that featured cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. A performance by Jon Bon Jovi will cap the night, which has Ernst & Young as the presenting sponsor.

The Cause

The event not only celebrates 50 years of Tiger Woods but also marks the 30th anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise 50 million dollars that evening to support the expansion of TGR Learning Labs, which offer free STEAM education (science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics), career programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
