The first Premier Padel P1 tournament of the season in Miami is delivering elite padel tennis. At the Miami Beach Convention Center, the world’s best teams are competing for the prestigious title, and the favorites are delivering the expected performances.

Men’s Draw: Tapia and Coello Extend Dominance

World number ones Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia have progressed smoothly through the quarterfinals and secured their spot in the semifinals. The Spanish-Argentine pairing defeated Guerrero and Navarro 7:5, 7:5 and will now face the in-form partnership of Lebron and Augsburger, who eliminated Sanz and Nieto 6:3, 7:5.

On the other side of the draw, Alejandro Galán and Chingotto impressed with a dominant 6:1, 6:0 victory against Barahona and García. They will take on Stupaczuk and Yanguas, who dispatched Di Nenno and González 7:6, 6:4.

Women’s Draw: Triay and Brea Unstoppable

World number ones Gemma Triay and Claudia Brea are confirming their top form at the Miami event. Following their title win at the Gijón P2 and a strong showing in Cancún, they advanced to the semifinals with a commanding 6:0 opening set against Icardo and Jensen.

The semifinals take place on March 29th. In the women’s draw, Brea and Triay will meet Fernández and Araujo, while Ariana Sánchez and Ustero Prieto face Paula Josemaría and González. The men’s semifinals begin at 4 p.m. local time.
