Gregor Biernath: ‘Something New and Good for Golf is Emerging’
Gregor Biernath, one of the most recognizable golf voices in the German-speaking world, has left Sky to lead the new expert team at MagentaTV. He will be supported by golf experts Florian Zunker, Bernd Ritthammer, and Max Kramer. Biernath stated, ‘The entire team immediately gave me the feeling that something new and good for golf can be created here. We can innovate and shake up golf broadcasting at MagentaTV.’ He also described the team as a ‘cool editorial team’ with a ‘really good mix.’
New faces have also joined as commentators. Michael Born, previously known for handball and football commentary at DAZN, will commentate alongside Herbert Gogel and Stephan Gandel. Additionally, Holger Speckhahn, known primarily as an ice hockey presenter for MagentaSport, will accompany the upcoming live broadcasts.
