Top Finishes for Tamburlini and Rottluff, Cejka Midfield in Champions Event

Chiara Tamburlini and Maximilian Rottluff secure top-10 finishes, while Alex Cejka ends mid-pack at the Simmons Bank Championship.

As the golf calendar transitions into autumn, the weekend offered more than just PGA Tour and DP World Tour action. Several international events saw standout performances from European players.

LET: Tamburlini Shines in Taiwan

At the Wistron Ladies Open in Taiwan on the Ladies European Tour, local hero and five-time major champion Yani Tseng claimed her first win in 11 years with a 14-under-par finish. Tseng, who has struggled on the LPGA Tour in recent years, has found success using a left-handed putter despite being a right-handed player. Due to poor weather, the tournament was shortened to two rounds. Switzerland’s Chiara Tamburlini capitalized on the format, finishing T8 at 7-under-par. Germany’s Helen Briem ended T44 at 2-under, Laura Fünfstück was T67 at even par, and Patricia Isabel Schmidt finished T75 at 1-over.

Champions Tour: Cejka Solid in Little Rock

Alex Cejka was the sole German representative at the Simmons Bank Championship in Little Rock, Arkansas. His performance was steady across all three rounds. He opened with four birdies but was slowed by a bogey and a double bogey to finish the first day at 1-under. A bogey-free second round with two birdies and another 1-under final round placed him T23 overall. Steven Alker dominated the event with a 20-under total, finishing seven shots ahead of runners-up Richard Green and Tag Riddings.

Asian Tour: Rottluff in the Mix

At the International Series Philippines, local favorite Miguel Tabuena claimed victory with a dominant 24-under-par performance. Germany’s Maximilian Rottluff delivered a strong showing, finishing T9 at 15-under. Fellow German Dominic Foos narrowly missed the cut on Saturday.
