Griffin wins World Wide Technology Championship
“Crazy — three wins and a wedding in the same year, it doesn’t get much better,” said Griffin, who is set to marry his fiancée Dana Myeroff next month. He quickly applied pressure on leader Garrick Higgo with three birdies in the first four holes, briefly sharing the lead. A bogey on the 5th set him back, but a streak of five consecutive birdies helped him regain control. Higgo faltered with a double bogey on the 12th, falling out of contention. Chad Ramey and Sami Valimaki made late charges with four birdies each, but Griffin sealed the win with a birdie on the final hole.
