Scandinavians take on Bermuda and Dubai

With only the PGA and LET tours playing this week the pressure is on for the Scandinavian players to put their countries on the golf map.

PGA Tour: Bermuda Championship

The PGA Tour is off to Bermuda for the 2021 Bermuda Championship. Hopefully they wont get lost in a y triangles before teeing off. They will play in Southampton, BER at the Port Royal Golf Course. The tournament starts on Thursday, 28th of October and ends on Sunday, 31st of October 2021. The Bermuda Championship is part of the PGA Tour in the season 2022. In 2022 all players competing for a total prize money of 6,500,000. The course for the tournament at Port Royal Golf Course plays at Par 72.

With another strong field of participants, we can look forward to top-class golf this week. Narrowing the focus on the Scandinavian golfers, the participation is lower than usually. Only four players will represent the Scandinavians and they are all Swedish. Lets see how well David Lingmerth, Daniel Chopra, and Richard Johnson represent Scandinavia as a whole. Coming in as an amateur is Ludvig Aberg and will be interesting to see how he plays alongside the pros.

LET Tour: Dubai Moonlight Classic

With only four tournaments to go for the LET season the Ladies European Tour is kicking off in Dubai this week. Stars of the LET will once again tee it up under the floodlights as the 15th Dubai Moonlight Classic presented by EGA takes place. Focusing on our Scandinavian stars we have Sanna Nuutinen(FIN), Ursula Wikstrom(FIN), Johanna Gustavsson(SWE), Caroline Hedwall(SWE) starting us of.

The Dubai Moonlight Classic is a professional golf tournament on the Ladies European Tour. It has a prize fund of 260,000 Euros and is one of the most anticipated LET events of the season. With Annika Sorenstam(SWE) being a legend of this event in 2007, we hope to see the Scandinavian ladies follow her footsteps.
