Jeeno Thitikul takes a six-shot lead into the final round of the LPGA Tour finale. Esther Henseleit slips back after a 73.
On moving day at the LPGA Tour season finale, Jeeno Thitikul once again proved why she is currently the world number one. With her second consecutive round of 64, the Thai star extended her lead to six strokes. At 22-under-par overall, she sits comfortably ahead of Nelly Korda and Pajaree Anannarukarn at Tiburón Golf Club heading into the final round.
Thitikul dominates LPGA Tour leaderboard
Thitikul’s round started quietly with a bogey on the first hole, but she quickly returned to her dominant form. Birdies came in rapid succession—four on the front nine and four more on the back. Her strategy? “Hit fairways, find good positions and putt,” she said after the round. Simple in theory, but currently the gold standard on the LPGA Tour.
While Thitikul marches toward the title, Nelly Korda remains in pursuit. Despite shooting a 65, she couldn’t close the gap. Looking ahead to the final round, she said, “You can’t get too ahead of yourself — it can get wild quickly.” Pajaree Anannarukarn also had a strong day, highlighted by an eagle on the sixth hole. The final qualifier in the field is making the most of her opportunity.

Henseleit battles through tough third round
Esther Henseleit had to grind through her third round on the LPGA Tour. After a solid start with four straight pars, three bogeys followed. The par-5 14th once again cost her a shot. Still, the German showed resilience down the stretch, carding birdies on holes 15, 17 and 18 to salvage a 73 (+1). She sits at +1 overall, tied for 55th place.
