LIV Golf Opens the Door – Who Will Seize the Opportunity?
The field features a high-caliber lineup, including tour winners, former LIV players, and newcomers. For some, it’s about a comeback; for others, a breakthrough. Among them, five German-speaking participants see the event as a significant opportunity, potentially marking a new chapter.
Max Kieffer Faces a New Chapter
For Max Kieffer, this might be his most important appearance since his win on the DP World Tour in 2022. After 13 years in Europe’s top tier, he lost his tour card. The 2025 season didn’t go as planned, falling in rankings and missing Q-School. Now, LIV Golf offers a new path. The Düsseldorf native brings experience and determination with a clear message: “We’re not done yet.” Florida will show how far the comeback can go.
Other German-speaking Players with Their Own Stories
Dominic Foos made a mark in 2025 with an Asian Tour win, blending consistent play with international experience that earned him promotion entry. At 28, a leap into LIV Golf League would not just be a sporting rise but a spotlight launchpad.
Nick Bachem faced setbacks in 2025—a tough injury and finishing last at Q-School. Yet Bachem’s resilience and top-level winning ability are known. Similarly, Matthias Schwab missed the Tour School final round, losing a realistic chance at a tour card. After years on PGA and DP World Tours, he seeks a new way where LIV Golf might fit.
