Majors, Solheim Cup and four top events in the DACH region: Here are the key golf dates for 2026 at a glance.

The 2026 golf season promises a packed calendar for fans, featuring the prestigious men’s and women’s majors, the Solheim Cup, and several notable events in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Men’s Majors: Tradition and Prestige

The men’s major season kicks off April 9–12 with the iconic Masters at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia, USA. Rory McIlroy, who completed his career Grand Slam in 2025, returns as defending champion. The PGA Championship follows May 14–17 at Aronimink Golf Club in Newton Square, Pennsylvania. The US Open takes place June 18–21 at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, New York, where J.J. Spaun claimed victory in 2025. The major season concludes with The Open, held July 16–19 at Royal Birkdale Golf Club in Southport, England. Scottie Scheffler, who won the PGA Championship, added a second major title at The Open last year.

Women’s Majors and the Solheim Cup

The women’s major season begins April 23–26 with the Chevron Championship in Texas. From June 4–7, the US Women’s Open presented by Ally heads to Riviera Country Club in California, where Sweden’s Maja Stark made history in 2025 as the first European winner in 19 years. The KPMG Women’s PGA Championship follows June 25–28 at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Minnesota. The Amundi Evian Championship is set for July 9–12 in France, and the season wraps up with the AIG Women’s Open July 30–August 2 in England. A major highlight is the Solheim Cup, taking place September 11–13 at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands
