Team Kuchar wins PNC Championship, Langer duo finishes T7

Bernhard Langer and son Jason played well at the PNC Championship but missed the podium as defending champions.

The PNC Championship, held at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Orlando, Florida, concluded the 2025 PGA Champions Tour season. Played in a two-round scramble format, the family team event saw Team Kuchar emerge victorious ahead of Team Love and Team Daly. Bernhard Langer and his son Jason finished tied for seventh, while fan favorite John Daly and his son John II secured a share of second place.

Team Kuchar, consisting of 2016 Ryder Cup winner Matt Kuchar and his son Cameron, delivered an outstanding performance. On Saturday, they carded a flawless round with 15 birdies. On Sunday, they added 14 birdies and two eagles, finishing with a total of 33-under-par to claim the title.

Behind them, Team Daly and Team Love tied for second at 26-under-par. John Daly and son John II impressed with consecutive rounds of 59, each featuring nine birdies and two eagles. Davis Love III, the 1997 PGA Champion, and his son Dru opened with a 60 and followed up with a bogey-free round including 14 birdies.

Nelly Korda shines in family format

Steven Stricker, former Ryder Cup captain, teamed up with his daughter Izzi to finish tied for fourth at 25-under-par. They shared the spot with Team Korda, featuring two-time major winner and Olympic gold medalist Nelly Korda and her father Petr. The Kordas opened with a 60 and improved to a 59 on Sunday, showcasing Nelly’s LPGA Tour-caliber skills.

Bernhard Langer finishes T7 at PNC Championship

Defending champions Bernhard Langer and his son Jason couldn’t repeat their previous success. The two-time Masters champion and his son opened with a bogey-free 61 and followed up with a 60, finishing at 23-under-par and tied for seventh place in the final standings.
