Bernhard Langer vividly remembers his first appearance at the PNC Championship. Back then, his son was still in high school—young, ambitious, and right in the mix with the pros. “We had a blast,” Langer recalls. “At that time, he had to compete against professional teams—hitting drives and aiming for the green with an 8-iron, even though he was three over par.” It wasn’t about the score, though. “It was just a wonderful time.” That moment marked the beginning of a cherished tradition for Langer. “I loved this tournament from the very first moment I was invited.”
