Tiger Woods to Celebrate 50th Birthday with Star-Studded Party in Florida

Tiger Woods’ 50th birthday celebration in January features a star-studded guest list, top music act, and title sponsor.

Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30, and the milestone is being celebrated in style. His foundation is hosting a grand party on January 14 with an exclusive guest list, a star music act, and a title sponsor, according to Front Office Sports.

The Occasion

When a golf legend like Tiger Woods turns 50, a big celebration is in order. Under the theme “RED: Celebrating Legacy,” around 300 guests will join the festivities at the luxury resort The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. The event is organized by Woods’ TGR Foundation to honor his achievements on and off the course and to look ahead to the future. The guest list includes friends like Justin Thomas and Woods’ longtime caddie Joe LaCava, as well as other notable figures from the sports world.

The Theme

The evening will focus on the birthday honoree. The dress code is “a touch of red,” inspired by the iconic final outfit worn by the 15-time major champion, which also inspired his own clothing line. The menu will be inspired by dishes served at the Champions Dinner following Woods’ five Masters victories, potentially including elements from the McDonald’s-inspired menu of his first Masters win, when he served cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. A performance by Jon Bon Jovi will cap off the evening, presented by the title sponsor Ernst & Young.

Supporting a Good Cause

The event not only celebrates 50 years of Tiger Woods but also marks the 30th anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise $50 million during the evening to support the expansion of the TGR Learning Labs, which offer free STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics), career programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
