Tiger Woods to Celebrate 50th Birthday with Star-Studded Party

Tiger Woods’ 50th birthday party in January features a star-studded guest list, top music act, and a title sponsor.

Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30th, and the milestone will be celebrated in style. His foundation is hosting a grand party on January 14th with an exclusive guest list, a headline music act, and even a title sponsor, according to Front Office Sports.

The Occasion

A golf legend like Tiger Woods deserves a grand celebration for his 50th birthday. Under the theme ‘RED: Celebrating Legacy,’ about 300 guests will celebrate the milestone at The Breakers, a luxury resort in Palm Beach, Florida. The event is organized by Woods’ TGR Foundation with the aim of honoring Tiger Woods’ achievements on and off the course while looking toward the future. The guest list includes friends like Justin Thomas and Woods’ longtime caddie Joe LaCava, among other sports luminaries.

The Theme

The evening will focus entirely on the birthday honoree. The dress code is ‘a touch of red,’ reminiscent of the iconic final-round outfit worn by the 15-time major winner, which also inspired his own clothing line. The menu will draw inspiration from the meals served at the Champions Dinner following Woods’ five Masters victories, possibly including items from the McDonald’s-inspired menu from his first Masters win, when Woods famously ordered cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. A performance by Jon Bon Jovi will cap off the night, which is presented by the accounting firm Ernst & Young as the title sponsor.

A Worthy Cause

Beyond celebrating 50 years of Tiger Woods’ life, the event will also mark the 30th anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise $50 million during the evening to support the expansion of TGR Learning Labs, which offer free STEAM education programs (science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics), career-related programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
