Tiger Woods Celebrates His 50th Birthday with Star-Studded Party

Tiger Woods’ 50th birthday party in January features a star-studded guest list, top music act, and a title sponsor.

Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30 and is celebrating in style. His foundation is hosting a grand party on January 14 with an exclusive guest list, a star music act, and even a title sponsor, reports Front Office Sports.

The Occasion

When a golf legend like Tiger Woods turns 50, it calls for a big celebration. The event, titled “RED: Celebrating Legacy,” will be a lavish gala with around 300 guests at The Breakers, a luxury resort in Palm Beach, Florida. Hosted by Woods’ TGR Foundation, the event aims to celebrate his achievements on and off the golf course and to look ahead to the future. Guests include friends like Justin Thomas and Woods’ longtime caddie Joe LaCava, as well as other prominent figures in the sports world.

The Theme

The evening will focus entirely on the birthday honoree. The dress code is “a touch of red,” inspired by the iconic final round outfit of the 15-time major champion, which also inspired his clothing line. The menu is based on the meals Tiger had at the Champions Dinner following his five Masters wins, including dishes reminiscent of the McDonald’s-inspired menu from his first Masters victory, where Woods famously served cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. A performance by Jon Bon Jovi will cap off the night, which is sponsored by the global professional services firm Ernst & Young.

The Cause

The event not only celebrates 50 years of Tiger Woods but also the 30th anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation hopes to raise $50 million to expand the TGR Learning Labs, which provide free STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics), career programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
