Tiger Woods to Celebrate 50th Birthday with Star-Studded Party

With a star-studded guest list, top music act, and title sponsor, Tiger Woods’ birthday celebration is set for January.

Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30, and this milestone will be celebrated in style. His foundation is hosting a grand party on January 14 with an exclusive guest list, a star performer, and a title sponsor, reports Front Office Sports.

The Occasion

A golf legend turning 50 calls for a grand celebration. Under the theme “RED: Celebrating Legacy,” the milestone birthday will be celebrated with around 300 guests at the luxury resort The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. The event is organized by Woods’ foundation, the TGR Foundation, aiming to honor Tiger Woods’ achievements both on and off the golf course while looking to the future. The guest list includes friends like Justin Thomas, Woods’ longtime caddie Joe LaCava, and other prominent figures from the sports world.

The Theme

The evening will revolve around the birthday honoree. The dress code is “a touch of red,” recalling the iconic final outfit of the 15-time major winner, which also inspired his apparel line. The evening’s menu draws inspiration from the dishes served at the Champions Dinner after Woods’ five Masters victories. This might include elements inspired by the McDonald’s-themed menu from his first Masters win when Woods enjoyed cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. A performance by Jon Bon Jovi will round off the night, with event sponsorship presented by the global accounting firm Ernst & Young.

The Cause

The event will not only celebrate 50 years of Tiger Woods’ life but also mark the 30th anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise $50 million during the evening to support the expansion of TGR Learning Labs, which provide free STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics), career-related programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
