With a star-studded guest list, top music act, and title sponsor, Tiger Woods’ birthday celebration is set for January.
Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30 and plans a grand celebration. His foundation is hosting a major party on January 14 featuring an exclusive guest list, a star music act, and a title sponsor, according to Front Office Sports.
The Occasion
A golfing legend’s 50th birthday calls for a big celebration. Under the motto “RED: Celebrating Legacy,” around 300 guests will attend the lavish event at The Breakers luxury resort in Palm Beach, Florida. Hosted by Woods’ TGR Foundation, the event honors his achievements on and off the golf course and looks toward the future. Guests include friends like Justin Thomas, long-time caddie Joe LaCava, and other sports stars.
The Theme
The evening will focus on the birthday star. The dress code is “a touch of red,” harkening back to the iconic final-round outfit of the 15-time major winner, which also inspired his apparel line. The dinner menu draws inspiration from the Champions Dinners following his five Masters victories, including elements like cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes from his first Masters win. Jon Bon Jovi’s performance will highlight the night, which is also sponsored by the accounting firm Ernst & Young.
A Charitable Cause
The event not only celebrates Tiger Woods’ 50 years but also marks 30 years of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise $50 million during the evening to expand TGR Learning Labs that offer free STEAM education, career programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
