Team Kuchar wins PNC Championship 2025, Langers finish T7

Bernhard Langer and his son Jason played well at the PNC Championship but missed the podium as defending champions.

The PNC Championship on the PGA Champions Tour, held at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Orlando, Florida, concluded the 2025 season with a family team event in a two-round scramble format. Team Kuchar emerged victorious, finishing ahead of Team Love and Team Daly. Bernhard Langer and his son Jason finished tied for seventh, while fan favorite John Daly and his son John II tied for second.

Team Kuchar, consisting of 2016 Ryder Cup winner and multiple Presidents Cup champion Matt Kuchar and his son Cameron, delivered a flawless opening round with 15 birdies. On the final day, they added 14 birdies and two eagles to finish at an impressive 33-under-par, securing a clear victory.

Trailing behind were Team Daly and Team Love, both finishing at 26-under-par. John Daly and his son John II posted two rounds of 59, each featuring nine birdies and two eagles. Davis Love III, the 1997 PGA Champion, and his son Dru opened with a 60 and followed with 14 birdies on Sunday to share second place.

Nelly Korda shines in family format

Former Ryder Cup captain Steve Stricker teamed up with his daughter Izzi to finish tied for fourth at 25-under-par. They shared the spot with Team Korda, featuring two-time major winner and Olympic gold medalist Nelly Korda and her father Petr. The Kordas opened with a 60 and improved to a 59 on Sunday, making Nelly the only LPGA pro in the field.

Bernhard Langer misses podium at PNC Championship

Defending champion and two-time Masters winner Bernhard Langer, alongside his son Jason, started with a bogey-free 61 (-11) and improved to a 60 (-10) on Sunday. Despite their strong performance, they finished tied for seventh at 23-under-par, missing out on a podium finish this year.
