DP World Tour Championship 2025: Record Prize Money in Dubai Finale

The DP World Tour wraps up its 2025 season in Dubai with $12 million in prize money and the Race to Dubai crown at stake.

The Earth Course in Dubai hosts the final event of the DP World Tour season, capping off a global journey that spanned 41 events in 27 countries. The DP World Tour Championship not only offers the largest purse of the season—$12 million—but also determines the final standings in the Race to Dubai. Among the 50 top-ranked players competing are Ryder Cup stars Ludvig Åberg and Shane Lowry, adding extra firepower to the field.

DP World Tour Championship: Big Rewards in Dubai

Matt Fitzpatrick claimed the winner’s share of $3 million, while the runner-up earned $1.27 million and third place took home $820,000. Even the last-place finisher walked away with $33,500. In addition, the top ten players in the season-long Race to Dubai shared a $6 million bonus pool, with Rory McIlroy receiving the top payout of $2 million.

Beyond prize money, the DP World Tour Championship also serves as a gateway to the PGA Tour. Through the strategic alliance between the tours, the top ten players in the Race to Dubai not already exempt on the U.S. circuit earned PGA Tour cards for the 2026 season.
