The official Tomorrow Golf League (TGL) schedule has been published: The indoor golf league starts on January 7, 2025.
The Tomorrow Golf League (TGL), an indoor golf league founded by golf icons Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, has finally set a start date: the league will kick off on January 7, 2025. Each match will be played in a special 250,000 square meter event center, the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, which can accommodate up to 1,600 spectators. It was scheduled to begin in January 2024, but a roof collapse at the SoFi Center, which caused a power outage during construction on November 14, 2023, made it impossible to complete the arena on time. Now, however, the schedule has been published and things can finally get started in 2025!
Schedule for the 2025 TGL season
The regular TGL season consists of 15 events, after which the four best teams advance to the playoffs. These consist of two semi-finals, which are decided in one match, and a best-of-3 final. The first season starts on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, and runs until the end of March. The games will mainly take place on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Playoffs and final
The top four teams after the regular season qualify for the playoffs, which begin on Monday, March 17, 2025. The two semi-finals will take place onMarch 17 and 18, and the final, a best-of-3, will begin on Monday, March 24 and end on Tuesday, March 25.
Fans can experience TGL’s exciting live events at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Tickets are available from 160 USD. To participate in the ticket presale on October 28, 2024, interested parties must register in advance. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on October 29, 2024 at 10 a.m. ET.

The Tomorrow Golf League was founded by golf stars Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy in collaboration with the PGA Tour. The league’s six teams represent various U.S. cities and are supported by ownership groups from other major sports leagues.

The rules of the TGL
The TGL league consists of two types of competition: the “Triples” and the “Singles”. In the triples, three players from one team play against three players from the opposing team over nine holes. In the subsequent singles, three players compete against each other in six duels, with each player playing two holes. If there is no winner after the regular matches, the “overtime” decides, in which the ball must be placed closest to the flag. The TGL also uses a scoring system similar to ice hockey: two points are awarded for a win in regulation time, and an additional point is awarded for a loss in overtime.
